Pass it On

Many people both non-members and members of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints have asked, “ Why are you going on a mission?”  Here’s a straightforward explanation…  “ Simply, I Love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! I want to be able to share the Gospel with the WORLD! Eleven years ago, my family was taught by two nineteen old boys about it!  Without the Gospel in my life I really don’t know where I would be. It has helped me in so many ways. I want to help others gain the relationships with both the Father and the Son that I have gained. This mission will allow me to teach and be taught by others who are striving to follow the Savior’s example. When I think of missionary work I think of a song from my childhood, Pass it On;

It only takes a spark to get a fire going,
And soon all those around can warm up in its glowing;
That's how it is with God's Love,
Once you've experienced it,
Your spread the love to everyone
You want to pass it on. 

What a wondrous time is spring,
When all the trees are budding
The birds begin to sing, the flowers start their blooming;

I can’t wait to pass it on. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of this Gospel and of the Father and the Son. In the name of  Jesus Christ. Amen.
